A Tiny Bit About Jon

Jon has loved film since he was young. After graduating high school, he attended Kent State University to study Digital Media Production with a concentration in Digital Film. During his time at Kent State, he became interested in film lighting. Jon began working in the industry while in college, helping to light and shoot corporate and documentary projects. After graduation in 2018, he began working in the grip and lighting departments on films, commercials, and more in the Northeast Ohio area. Now after a decade of gaining experience on numerous projects, Jon owns LIGHT’N UP! Motion Picture Lighting Services, a company dedicated to helping serve the smallest and largest independent film productions in the state while continuing to gaff films and commercial projects.
